Buket's first U.S solo exhibition A Warm Place opened on August 14th 2020 at Manifest Gallery.
The exhibition was on view till September 11th 2020 including artist's most recent paintings.
Buket was awarded Wolf Kahn and Emily Mason Painting Fellowship at Vermont Studio Center. She spent a whole month at the residency in November 2019.
Buket is accepted for a 3 month Artist Residency at Pilotenkueche in Leipzig, Germany. During her stay between October 1 - Dec 31 2018 she started her first multiple figure painting besides other paintings. She asked the fellow artist friends at the residency to pose for her, which was both fun and inspiring more to come.
Buket won the People's Choice Award of Jonathan LeVine Projects' 2nd Delusional Art Competition.
Thrilled to announce that Buket is going to have an exhibition at KUNSTVEREIN LUDWIGSBURG, Germany opening on May 3rd 2018. Zwei Positionen is a two joint exhibition with Sibel Horada.
Each artist will have their own rooms and Buket is going to have 13 paintings on view. The show can be seen till July 5th 2018.
September 2017, Buket worked with Liu Bolin again; this time for his debut Fashion Collection SS18.
December 2016, Buket won the Grand Prize of
Dave Bown Projects 13th Semiannual Competition.
Curators were Helga Christoffersen Assistant Curator of New Museum, NY and Kelly Kivland Associate Curator of Dia Art Foundation.
